The Greater Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce serves as a catalyst to promote the prosperity of our business community.  The Chamber does this by providing promotional, networking, marketing, educational, advocacy

and safety opportunities.


The Chamber participates with its members to support our

community by providing direction  and building positive

relationships, connections and linkages.

GOAL: Promote business improvement, talent and skill development

through teaching, training and access to quality business education.

GOAL: Work to build our influence and visibility inside

and outside Woodland Park/Teller County.


Economic and Business Development

GOAL: Foster an environment of economic cooperation

and expansion for the business community in the region.

IS THE CHAMBER PART OF THE CITY?    No. The Chamber of Commerce is a separate entity from the City. The Chamber and the City do work close together to create an atmosphere where business can thrive. In matters concerning or affecting local business, the City request input from the Chamber and takes that information into consideration when making decisions.



WHO RUNS THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?

The Chamber is presently operated by a paid staff of one employee that reports directly to the eleven member Board of Directors. The President  handles the day to day operations of the Chamber office. Approximately 12 Volunteers work regular shifts in the office helping with things like answering phones, mailings, and similar projects.


WHO IS ON THE BOARD?

The Board of Directors are eleven individuals representing member businesses. They are elected by the membership and serve a three year term.


WHAT DO BOARD MEMBERS DO?

Board members set the Strategic Plan for the Chamber of Commerce. They are ambassadors for the Chamber. They volunteer their time aside from their regular jobs to promote the Chamber’s mission. They attend Chamber meetings and ensure goals are being attained.


WHAT DOES THE STAFF DO?

The staff is responsible for the day to day operations and implementation of the Strategic Plan.  This includes most of the tasks necessary to execute our member benefits and programs of work.
