So! You enjoy our local landscape, the quiet pace of your neighborhood's lifestyle, you've learned to navigate your SUV through our spring snows, and find your way to the local trailheads: what's next? Want to know why those ancient chimneys dot the landscape, or how Henrietta Avenue got its name? What about those rustic cabins around Memorial Lake? Where are the cowboys, and the championship-level cowgirl barrel racers as well? And, where did all the railroad tracks go? We can help you! The 2008 Ute Pass Historical Society Membership Drive is underway. Help Volunteers preserve our local heritage, while learning about our area history. Family memberships are $25.00/year, and Business level memberships begin at $50.00/year. Benefits include discounts at our Gift Shop, newsletters, and invitations to our programs and events. Be in the know, and know where to (historically) go! Our Volunteers are eager to help you learn more about our agricultural, mining, railroad and ranching heritage. And, if you decide to volunteer you'll learn even more, and faster! Contact for more information. Sponsored by: Ute Pass Historical Society
